What Conway does to a window
Conway is fifteen miles from the ocean, so the salt is gone and the oaks take over. The historic district, Lakeside Drive and the older streets around downtown sit under live oaks that have been there since before the town, and from late February into April the pollen covers every pane, porch screen and sill, followed by tannin and Spanish moss drip after every rain for the rest of the year. The deep shade keeps north-facing glass damp enough for mildew in the corners of the frames, and the old single-pane sashes sweat on cold mornings.
Along the Waccamaw River the air never fully dries out. Riverfront homes and the streets near the river keep a gray film on the water side of the house, and the river fog on fall and winter mornings leaves a mineral haze that rain does not rinse off. Out along Highway 90 and Highway 701 the newer neighborhoods in Wild Wing, Hillsborough and Shaftesbury Glen are pine instead of oak, with golf-course irrigation that leaves a hard line on the lower panes and lots still being built that keep construction dust on every slider and screen.

How often should windows be cleaned in Conway?

Can you remove hard water spots from sprinklers?
In most cases, yes. Mineral spots from sprinkler overspray need a dedicated treatment rather than regular cleaning. Tell us about them on the quote form and we will look at them on the first visit.
