What Surfside Beach does to a window
Garden City Beach is a strip of sand with the Atlantic on one side and Murrells Inlet and the marsh on the other, and the glass takes salt from both. Oceanfront homes along Waccamaw Drive and the Surfside oceanfront dry a white film within a week of a cleaning, heaviest on a northeast wind, and the marsh side along the inlet takes a damp haze every morning that leaves a gray film on the water side of the house. Blowing sand scratches the lower panes, and the elevated homes with window walls facing the ocean are the hardest working glass on the south Strand.
West of Highway 17 the salt eases and the pines take over. Deerfield Plantation, Prestwick, Indigo Creek and the older streets of Surfside sit under longleaf pines and live oaks that drop pollen from March into May and tannin after every rain for the rest of the year, and the shade keeps north-facing glass damp enough for mildew in the corners of the frames. The golf-course irrigation and the lagoons behind most lots leave a hard mineral line along the lower panes, and the rental turnover on the beach side means sliders never see a proper cleaning.

Do you work in the gated communities?

Can you remove hard water spots from sprinklers?
In most cases, yes. Mineral spots from sprinkler overspray need a dedicated treatment rather than regular cleaning. Tell us about them on the quote form and we will look at them on the first visit.
