What Myrtle Beach does to a window
Myrtle Beach glass has the Atlantic on one side and the pines on the other. The oceanfront along Ocean Boulevard, the Dunes Club and the beach side of Grande Dunes take spray straight off the water on every east wind, and a nor'easter in the fall or winter carries the salt a mile inland to Pine Lakes and Plantation Point. On the sun side the film bakes on and starts to etch, and blowing sand scratches the lower panes on windy afternoons.
Behind the dunes it is pine. Pine Lakes, Briarcliffe Acres and the older streets off Kings Highway sit under longleaf and loblolly pines that drop a yellow-green pollen from March into May that coats every pane, screen and sill in the city, then sap and needles for the rest of the year. The live oaks in the older neighborhoods drip tannin after every rain, the Intracoastal side of Grande Dunes holds a damp haze on the back glass, and the townhomes at Market Common and Socastee pick up irrigation spots on the lower panes.
We keep it from building up by working each neighborhood on a set day. Most Myrtle Beach homes do well on a quarterly plan with a spring visit timed to the end of pollen season. Oceanfront homes and condos on Ocean Boulevard, at the Dunes Club and in Grande Dunes usually want every two months, and the oceanfront towers often go monthly in the windy months.

Myrtle Beach window cleaning questions
How much does window cleaning cost in Myrtle Beach?
First-clean pricing varies by home size and service package. A first cleaning, inside and out, is $259 for a home up to 2,000 square feet, $329 for 2,000 to 3,500 square feet, and $429 for larger homes on our Silver package. After that, a quarterly maintenance plan runs $60, $77, or $100 a month for those same home sizes. Oceanfront and riverfront estates get a custom quote.
How often should windows be cleaned in Myrtle Beach?
Homes under the pines in Pine Lakes, Briarcliffe Acres, Plantation Point and Market Common do well every quarter, which keeps pollen, sap and sprinkler spots from building up. Homes on the oceanfront or the Intracoastal in Grande Dunes, the Dunes Club and along Ocean Boulevard do better every two months because of the salt. Most people have the inside glass done once a year.
Do you work in the gated communities?
Yes. We work in Grande Dunes, the Dunes Club, Plantation Point and Briarcliffe Acres, and in the oceanfront condo towers along Ocean Boulevard and Shore Drive with front-desk or fob access. Just add us to your gate list or tell us the procedure when you book.
Can you remove hard water spots from sprinklers?
In most cases, yes. Mineral spots from sprinkler overspray need a dedicated treatment rather than regular cleaning. Tell us about them on the quote form and we will look at them on the first visit.
